Family Storytelling to Start Art
with Chloë of the Midnight Storytellers. Working together as family and friends – on one huge piece of paper if you like – mums can get messy, dads can doodle and kids can take charge! Your mission is to draw and paint the pictures that Chloë has created in your mind. This workshop is for ages 6+, intended for family groups and young people. Some art materials may be supplied but please do bring some yourself. Children under 11 must be accompanied.
Celebrating 10 years of Midnight Storytellers, Chloë blends tradition with innovation in a style of Story Cabaret acclaimed by audiences as diverse as Cheltenham Literature Festival and cruise ships. She originally trained at Central School of Speech & Drama, then worked 17 years as an editor and international communications trainer. Writer’s block in the mid ‘90s drove her to try storytelling, and she found her true passion. Chloë’s creative approach excludes her from the rarified mainstream of traditionalist UK storytelling but constantly wins her new audiences. She lives in the Cotswolds.
