Afternoon Music and Songwriting Workshops for children and young people
aged 7 - 14 years
Dr Micaela Schmitz, workshop leader, pianist and vocalist, and Russell Painter, tenor and specialist in the music of Gilbert and Sullivan, will co-lead a workshop for up to 50 primary school aged children. Visiting children may gain entry with a Rover ticket but space is very limited.
Students will learn Victorian songs, be encouraged to create their own lyrics and songs, and will have an opportunity to perform alongside professionals in the concert that evening at St Michael and All Angels Church. No prior musical experience required!
