'A Word in your Eye: Stories to Start Art' with Chloe of the Midnight Storytellers.
Working in a reasonably portable medium, you will be plunged into a focused fever of creation as Chloe invites you to interpret images she has called up. A session of visual inspiration, experimentation and laughter. Please bring your preferred drawing and painting materials. For experienced artists. Tea/coffee making supplies provided.
Celebrating 10 years of Midnight Storytellers, Chloë blends tradition with innovation in a style of Story Cabaret acclaimed by audiences as diverse as Cheltenham Literature Festival and cruise ships. She originally trained at Central School of Speech & Drama, then worked 17 years as an editor and international communications trainer. Writer’s block in the mid ‘90s drove her to try storytelling, and she found her true passion. Chloë’s creative approach excludes her from the rarified mainstream of traditionalist UK storytelling but constantly wins her new audiences. She lives in the Cotswolds.
